Dallas County’s New Employee Orientation

New Employee Orientation Details

New Employee Orientation is conducted every Monday from 8am to 12:00 noon in The Renaissance Tower, 1201 Elm Street, 23rd floor, Dallas Texas 75270. This session is mandatory for all new hires (Part-time and Full-time).

During this session you”ll learn about important Dallas County policies and procedures that impact you as an employee, and receive an overview of employee insurance benefits and other programs and perks available to you.


New Employees must park in the Renaissance parking garage which is located at 1201 Pacific Avenue Dallas, Texas 75202, in order for the Human Resources Department to validate parking.

Note: If you have an employee that is going from part-time to full-time, they will need to attend the Benefits Presentation which begins at  10:45am (Renaissance parking will be validated). 

Note: If a holiday falls on a Monday, Orientation will be held on the Tuesday after the holiday. For example:

Labor Day – Monday, September 5, 2016; therefore, Orientation will be held on Tuesday, September 6th

Required dress code for the New Employee Orientation is business professional.

Please Bring These Items to New Employee Orientation

  1. Identification documents for completion of the I-9 form:

    Please note: Federal law requires that you must present original documents. Photocopies are not acceptable. The only exception is that you may present a certified copy of your birth certificate.

  2. Voided personal check or a letter from your bank with your name, routing number, and account number:

    To set up direct deposit.
    Please note: Direct deposit is required for all Dallas County employees. If you do not have a checking or savings account, you will be enrolled into a Cash Pay account.
