The Comprehensive Annual Financial Report includes all funds and account groups of the County completed according to V.T.C.A Local Government Code Paragraph 115.

The introductory section also includes a transmittal letter, the County's organizational chart, and a list of principal officials. The financial section includes the general-purpose financial statements and the combining and individual fund and account group financial statements and schedules in addition to the report of the independent auditors (KPMG) on the financial statements and schedules. The statistical section includes selected financial and demographic information, which is generally presented on a multiyear basis.

The County has received a Certificate of Achievement for the last 27 consecutive years (fiscal years ended 1981 through 2006). We believe our current report continues to conform to the Certificate of Achievement program reqiirement and we are submiting it to GFOA.
