Old Red Courthouse Renovation

Old Red Courthouse now features Museum of Dallas County History, Visitors Bureau, a Gift shop, Children's Learning Center, several conference rooms and the Hatton W. Sumners Courtroom to be used as needed.

Special features also include the restoration of the Grand Staircase and the 90-foot Clock Tower.

Cost:  Renovation to the Main Building were approximately $12 Million (including design)
Constructing Clock Tower - $4.3 million

Funding:  Combination of Federal Grants, Old Red Foundation private dollars, and Dallas County’s Major Capital Fund
