Description:
Trail connection from downtown Carrollton heading northeast to Josey Lane..

Cost and Funding:
$2,947,000 to be shared between Dallas County and the City of Carrollton.

Current Status:
The project is UNDER CONSTRUCTION, and is expected to be complete by the end of Summer 2013.

I-35 @ Belt Line

Lead Agency:
The City of Carrollton and TXDOT in conjunction with overall master plan for I-35E.

Description:
Intersection and interchange improvements.

Cost and Funding:
The projected cost for this section is approximately $35 million. Dallas County will contribute $4 million from our Major Capital Improvement Program.  This segment will be a nice complement to the I35E project which will span from I-635 in Dallas County to US380 in Denton County.

Current Status:
The contract for development was signed in May 2013.  Utility relocations along the corridor will begin late summer 2013, and construction should begin soon after that.  It is anticipated that this project will be complete in late 2016.
