Description:
Scope of project begins at the southwest property line of Brookhaven College at Valley View Lane, and extends around the west side of the campus and connects at the north end of the campus to the Town of Addison’s Vitruvian development.

Cost and Funding:
The cost of the project is $2,226,000 and Dallas County has committed $1,050,000 along with a generous contribution by the Town of Addison (via a grant from the North Central Texas Council of Government) in the amount of $1,176,000.

Current Status:
Construction began in the Fall of 2013, and the project was completed in June 2014.

Description:
This would be a new road through a new development located near the IH635 and IH35E corridor.

Cost and Funding:
The projected cost is $17,030,000, with Dallas County committed to $3,400,000, and the City and Others committed to $13,630,000.

Current Status:
The City of Farmers Branch is still considering this project, however it probably will not go to construction before 2017.

Marsh Lane Bridge

Description:
This new bridge will replace the existing old southbound bridge to match the existing northbound bridge between Valley View Lane and Vitruvian Drive.

Cost and Funding:
The cost is estimated to be $2,000,000, with Dallas County and the City of Farmers Branch each providing $1,000,000 towards the project.

Current Status:
The project is currently in the final design stage.

West Side Trail

Description:
Construct a trail that will span from the Downtown Farmers Branch DART station going westward to connect to the Campion Trail in Irving.

Cost and Funding:
The projected cost is $3,000,000 to be split between Farmers Branch and Dallas County.

Current Status:
The program year selected at this time is 2016 and 2017, when funding is available.
