Youth Boxing Program

Grand Prairie Youth Boxing is a program developed by the Grand Prairie Police Department and strongly supported by the Grand Prairie Independent School District.  Primary funding is through community and corporate donations. Grand Prairie Youth Boxing is currently accepting male and female participants from 12-18 years of age that reside in Grand Prairie Texas.

Date for Next Civil Service Exam: October 20, 2012

Deadline to Apply for test: October 12, 2012


21 Years of Age and

Bachelors Degree from Accredited College or

3 years as a TCLEOSE certified Peace Officer and 30 hrs college or

3 years as a Grand Prairie Public Safety employee and 30 hours of college

A throurough background check will be performed after a personal history statement has been submitted
