DCHHS joins initiative to fight HIV in the African-American community
DCHHS unites with several organizations in a premiere initiative to conquer HIV in the African-American community. The campaign, FADE OUT HIV, is a movement to help decrease the number of new HIV infections in the Dallas County African-American community. DCHHS, along with City of Dallas, UT Southwestern, and Urban League of Greater Dallas are partnering with several barbershops and hair salons to spread messages on HIV education, prevention, treatment, and counseling.
