DCHHS leaders work the front lines
of the Ebola crisis
On October 1, Dallas County Health and Human Services (DCHHS) in conjunction with the Texas Department of State Health Services issued a control order to the immediate family of the first U.S. diagnosed case of Ebola to stay indoors with no visitors for 21 days. DCHHS will check the family's symptoms twice a day and ensure their needs are met, including food and personal items.
