DCHHS partners with the American Kidney Fund for Kidney Action Day
DCHHS participated in Kidney Action Day June 18 hosted by the American Kidney Fund (AKF). The public event included free kidney health screenings, interactive fitness demos, healthy food samples and local entertainment. On Tuesday, June 17, 2014 Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price presented AKF with a resolution for their efforts and to acknowledge Kidney Action Day.
