Eliminating HIV stigma

Positive Women’s Network USA (PWN_USA) is an organization that aims to change policies, create, support and advocate for programs that meet the needs of women living with and vulnerable to HIV.

Focusing on human rights and positive women’s leadership, the organization’s mission is to prepare and involve all women living with HIV, in all diversities, including gender identity and sexual expression, in all levels of policy and decision-making.

Friday Dec. 1, Director Zachary Thompson was a guest panelist at the 2017 World AIDS Day Luncheon hosted by PWN_USA. Director Thompson discussed HIV-related stigma, mobilizing HIV awareness throughout Dallas County and current public health initiatives.
