Director Thompson speaks at Oak Cliff Lions Club meeting
DCHHS Director Zachary Thompson recently spoke at the Oak Cliff Lions Club meeting held at Methodist Dallas Medical Center. Thompson spoke on a variety of topics including the Ebola response, DCHHS lab, public health preparedness, and health disparities in Dallas County.
The Oak Cliff Lions Club of Dallas, established in 1929, is a member of Lions Clubs International - the world’s largest service Club’s organization with over 1.3 million members in nearly 46,000 clubs and 750 districts in some 193 countries and geographic areas of the world.
