Dallas County Health and Human Services offers individual health checks and examinations for children who range in age from birth to 5 years old.

DCHHS charges $5 per patient for their examination; however no child will be denied services due to a parent’s inability to pay. Services are free for individuals with valid Medicaid cards.
Parents are asked to bring their child’s immunization records. A $5 fee will be charged for a replacement copy. Immunization records may only be available if the patient has been seen at one of DCHHS’ clinics before.
