Introduction
The Dallas County MRC is governed by the Dallas County Health & Human Services
Department, Emergency Preparedness and Response Division.
- A robust training program is available to all volunteers
- The place to start is with basic Orientation (required)
- Personal & Family Preparedness training is also required
- Elective job-role training prepares volunteers for efficiency in specific roles
- Leadership training is available for comprehensive MRC response
Mission Statement
The Medical Reserve Corp's mission is to assist the local community during a public health emergency by providing a rapid, coordinated and specific response using locally recruited medical, mental health, public health and health support volunteers appropriately trained in the latest emergency response methods.
