About the Bioterrorism Preparedness and Response Program
The Dallas County Health and Human Services Bioterrorism Preparedness and Response Program provides a standardized, coordinated, efficacious bioterrorism prevention and response capability for Dallas County, and if requested by the Texas Department of State Health Services, other state entities.
The Bioterrorism Preparedness and Response Program is based on principles of preparedness, prevention and response . These principles are applied to pre-event, event, and post-event bioterrorism incidents. The tools for the program are the Bioterrorism Preparedness and Response Plan, Bioterrorism Preparedness and Response Division, Public Health Operations, Public Health Infrastructure, and Bioterrorism Preparedness Education and Training.
