The Public Health Advisory Committee, chaired by Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price, is composed of representatives from municipal health departments and citizen members who review community needs in the areas of environmental health, preventative health, communicable diseases, public health preparedness/Bioterrorism preparedness which have impact upon the overall health of the community; provide leadership in establishing priorities for the various health issues facing the county; and encourage the coordination and cooperation of all entities seeking to improve the health of county citizens.
