Short Term Adolescent Residential Treatment Program (START)

The START PROGRAM, is a 60 day residential treatment program for youth who are court ordered to participate.  Residents range in age from 13 through 17 years old. The START Program has the capacity to serve 40 youth (30 males and 10 females). The Program utilizes a cognitive behavioral approach, based on the Thinking for a Change Curriculum. The mission of the Program is to provide comprehensive treatment for medium to high risk juvenile offenders and their families. The goal of the Program is to develop new thinking, social skills, and problem-solving skills in order to make more appropriate and safe choices once released into the community.

Visitation Schedule

Saturday - 10:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. residents with the last name starting with A-M
  1:15 P.M. - 2:15 P.M. residents with the last name starting with N-Z
Sunday - 1:15 P.M. - 2:15 P.M. residents with the last name starting with A-M
  10:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. residents with the last name starting with N-Z
