Ms. Bell has spent her whole life in Grand Prairie. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Relations from Texas tech. Her parents and grandparents were settlers to Dallas County, having migrated to the Grand Prairie area in the mid-1800's. She owns several businesses in Dallas County, one of which is a pharmacy and soda fountain. On the DCHC, Ms. Bell serves on the Grand Prairie Historical Commission, an the Executive Committee of the Grand Prairie Historical Organization. She serves as a board member for Private Providers Association of Texas (PPAT) and the Texas Assisted Living Association (TALA). These two organizations represent the two industries in which she has businesses serving aged and disabled persons. Ms. Bell is married and has 4 children, 3 stepchildren. She is a member of the Grand Prairie Soroptomist Club and the the First Baptist Church in Grand Prairie.
