Trails:

A ¼ - mile ADA trail is adjacent to parking.  A 2 – mile natural surface trail explores the several ecosystems that make up the escarpment embayments and the upland meadow that overlooks  Joe Pool Lake.

History:

Three hills make up the Preserve which contains a habitat of the Black-capped Vireo-an endangered species.  The habitat is being managed by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department with the help of volunteers.
