Parking: |
Large all-weather parking lot to the right and ADA parking ot the left at the end of the park entrance road. |

Picnic Facilities: |
A number of picnic tables are located on the grounds. |

Restrooms, a classroom, outdoor amphitheater, and water fountains are present. |

Trails: |
A number of trails are present. A kiosk marks the main trailhead from which all the trails radiate. |

History: |
A history of Preserve and the area is being assembled and will be included in a visitor's plaza within the next two years. The history plaza will include: the fossil record, the geomorphology of the area, the pre-history of the region and its history since European contact, natural history along with a history of the Preserve and its many supporters both organizations and individuals who recognized this unique natural resource and helped to set it aside for all to enjoy. |

This is a very fragile habitat. Therefore:
- No bicycles
- No motorized vehicles
- Stay on marked trails
- Pets must be on a leash

This area of the County is the natural habitat for Rattle Snakes, Coral Snakes, Copperheads, and Water Moccasins have been reported near the creek and in the pond. The harmless snakes along with the four poisonous ones listed are protected inside this Preserve as are all other mammals, birds and reptiles. Do not attempt to touch, trap, kill or harass the wildlife. |
