[Dallas] – [This Monday, February 4, 2013, Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins will announce, in a Press Conference, the Ask Not…The Dallas County Day of Service honoring the life and legacy of President John F. Kennedy. The service day is named after the President’s challenge made in his inauguration speech of January 20, 1961 where the words, “Ask not what your country can do for you…but what you can do for your country” came to define a legacy of service to one’s country. ]
Ask Not…The Dallas County Day of Service represents a County-wide effort which will be explained at the press conference with various City Mayors, officials and staff invited.
