The GIS (Geographic Information Systems) Team serves under the leadership of the Transportation and Planning Division of the Dallas County Public Works Department. Our primary mission is to support our department's transportation projects with clear and effective maps, geospatial analysis and other GIS solutions. We provide these same services for other departments within Dallas County and partner with other agencies to develop and maintain the region's GIS data resources.

GIS data for Dallas County can be obtained via the North Central Texas Council of Government's GIS Data Clearinghouse.  Inquiries for parcel data should be directed to the Dallas Central Appraisal District.
