The 5th Call-for-Projects for the Major Capital Improvement Program was authorized by Dallas County Commissioner's Court on February 26, 2008. The Public Works Department is currently preparing for the 2008 Call-for-Projects.

MCIP 5th Call for Projects

After extensive review and analysis, the Public Works Department briefed all County Commissioners on the projects submitted in their district for possible funding through the MCIP 5th Call for Projects. Seventy-six projects were submitted for this Call and the number selected will be based on funding available in the year projected for construction. The Commissioners are diligently reviewing the projects and the relevant information. Once the Commissioners have made their final decisions on which projects will be funded, all county partners that submitted projects will be notified. We expect the Commissioners will make final selections by the Fall of 2009.
