Tenmile Creek Preserve

Preserve History

Tenmile Creek Preserve was established in 1985 and has since been expanded three times. Forty-four of the Preserve's 125 acres have been donated by the Jack W. and Rosemary Gossett family so that the wooded portion of one of the earliest farms in Dallas County could be preserved. Another 34 acres have been graciously donated by the Bruce Moreland family.

Preserve Amenities

The Preserve has a gravel parking lot, picnic tables, benches, and a two-mile trail that was cleared by the Circle Ten Boy Scouts and that winds along Tenmile Creek and through the preserve's woods and meadows.
