Dallas County and the State of Texas links which are being used to create databases of potential suppliers, manufacturers, and for donations.
The office of Dallas County Judge Jenkins has created a website for potential suppliers of the needed personal protective equipment, hand sanitizer, and other resources to support the first responders and healthcare workers during this event. Please complete the information using the provided link which will be added to the database for consideration by public agencies in the region.
The State of Texas has established a website for potential suppliers to list their critical equipment specifically for the COVID-19. Please use the link below for potential suppliers.
The State of Texas has also created a link for those wishing to donate needed supplies to support COVID-19.
The Dallas County Purchasing Department is limiting physical person-to-person office access to essential Dallas County staff only; this precaution has been instituted in compliance with the latest Order issued to limit person-to-person interaction in an effort to stop the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19).
During this time, purchasing activities will be conducted in a manner that does not require in-person person-to-person interaction.
Business Opportunities
Dallas County will continue to conduct day-to-day procurement operations and will also continue to solicit bids and proposals for one-time purchases and term contracts.
In an effort to avoid person-to-person interaction to comply with the latest Order issued to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus, Dallas County Purchasing will seek alternative methods for the following procurement processes:
- IFP, RFP, and RFQ Submittals – Temporary Change: Bids and Proposals will only be accepted from parcel carriers. Please do not deliver your solicitation response in person.
- Bid Openings – Temporary Change: This site will be updated when the alternative method is implemented.
- Pre-Bid Meetings, Pre-Proposal Meetings, and Site Visits – Temporary Change: The respective Buyer will provide instructions through the solicitation documents for bridge conferencing or submitting questions via email directly to the Buyer
