Judge Moore has served as the Presiding Judge of the 162nd District Court since January 2017. Prior to her judicial service, Judge Moore practiced commercial litigation with an emphasis on trade secret, breach of contract, and employment litigation. Judge Moore practiced at Cowles & Thompson, Baker & McKenzie, Farrow-Gillespie and Heath, and she had her own law practice. She is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in labor and employment law. Judge Moore also served as the President of the Dallas Hispanic Bar Association, Dallas Hispanic Law Foundation, MABA-Texas, and served as a Director on the Dallas Bar Association Board of Directors. In addition to her leadership in the legal community, Judge Moore currently serves as the Vice-Chair of the CHRISTUS Health System Board of Directors. Judge Moore is a graduate of Boston College and the George Washington University Law Center.
