Mission Statement<\/strong><\/p>\n

The mission of the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office Inmate Program is to decrease criminal behavior and recidivism rates by offering a comprehensive array of services to offenders. This includes therapeutic treatment, educational opportunities, and vocational training. We emphasize the importance of positive changes that contribute to a law-abiding and productive lifestyle.<\/p>\n

Our program operates under the belief that every individual has the capacity for change and deserves the opportunity to better themselves. We recognize the importance of addressing the underlying issues that may contribute to criminal behavior, such as substance abuse, mental health challenges, and lack of education or job skills. By addressing these factors, we commit to breaking the cycle of incarceration and helping individuals become productive members of society.<\/p>\n

Inmate Programs Division:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Inmate Programs Division at the Dallas County Detention Facilities is committed to providing comprehensive educational, vocational, and rehabilitation services to inmates, in collaboration with local community agencies and volunteers.\u00a0 Our mission is to facilitate successful reentry into society by reducing recidivism through a variety of programs tailored to address the various needs and challenges faced by individuals during their incarceration period.<\/p>\n
