this may affect individuals who have electric vehicles, so please plan accordingly, as cellphones will NOT be allowed.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><strong>GENERAL VISITATION HOURS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All facilities have the same visitation schedule. The signing up of visitors shall begin 30 minutes prior to the start of visiting hours.<\/p>\n<p>Inmates whose last name begins with the letter:<\/p>\n<p>A through L<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mondays and Thursdays, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.\u00a0 Visitors will not be processed after 8:30 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>M through Z<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tuesdays and Fridays, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.\u00a0 Visitors will not be processed after 8:30 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Visitation for all inmates is allowed on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. \u2013 2:00 p.m. \u00a0\u00a0Visitors will not be processed after 1:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<div  class='togglecontainer av-lux18uuc-0e9b68ab89a5e810a93abb4e39828e17  avia-builder-el-6  el_after_av_textblock  avia-builder-el-last  toggle_close_all' >\n<section class='av_toggle_section av-lux1bu1a-8467677dc5d9648d63558799a54ef488'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div role=\"tablist\" class=\"single_toggle\" data-tags=\"{All} \"  ><p data-fake-id='#toggle-id-1' class='toggler   '  itemprop=\"headline\"  role='tab' tabindex='0' aria-controls='toggle-id-1'>HOSPITAL VISITS<span class=\"toggle_icon\"><span class=\"vert_icon\"><\/span><span class=\"hor_icon\"><\/span><\/span><\/p><div id='toggle-id-1' class='toggle_wrap  '  ><div class='toggle_content invers-color '  itemprop=\"text\" ><p><strong><u>Hospital Visits<\/u><\/strong>, under normal circumstances, are not allowed.\u00a0 If the medical professionals deem the inmate\u2019s medical condition is declining to the point a family visit is warranted, a one-time visit may be approved by the Chief Deputy of Detention Services or their designee.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_toggle_section av-lux12u2c-098bbd7525e69d15ade28c1ce912fc80'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div role=\"tablist\" class=\"single_toggle\" data-tags=\"{All} \"  ><p data-fake-id='#toggle-id-2' class='toggler   '  itemprop=\"headline\"  role='tab' tabindex='0' aria-controls='toggle-id-2'>LIMITATIONS<span class=\"toggle_icon\"><span class=\"vert_icon\"><\/span><span class=\"hor_icon\"><\/span><\/span><\/p><div id='toggle-id-2' class='toggle_wrap  '  ><div class='toggle_content invers-color '  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Each inmate will be limited to one (1) \u00a020-minute visit per day.\u00a0 No more than a total of four (4) people can visit one (1) inmate at a time.\u00a0 No more than two (2) adults and two (2) minor children can visit one (1) inmate at a time.\u00a0 Children under 17 years old are not placed on the visitor\u2019s card but may visit on weekends as long as they are accompanied by an adult parent or legal guardian who is on the visitor&#8217;s card.\u00a0 The adult(s)(18 years or older) accompanying the minor(s) will be held responsible for the actions and conduct of the minor child(ren) while visiting.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Each inmate may receive a maximum of two (2) visits per week, not including an attorney, law enforcement, or professional visits unless approved by a supervisor. The signing up of visitors shall begin 30 minutes prior to the start of visiting hours. Visitors will not be processed after 8:30 p.m. on weekdays and after 1:30 p.m. on weekends.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Visitors who have been incarcerated in a Dallas County detention facility within the preceding six months will not be authorized to visit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_toggle_section av-lux13hbr-7d93c4dfe0d862fa0942bffade3a26d3'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div role=\"tablist\" class=\"single_toggle\" data-tags=\"{All} \"  ><p data-fake-id='#toggle-id-3' class='toggler   '  itemprop=\"headline\"  role='tab' tabindex='0' aria-controls='toggle-id-3'>DURATION OF VISITS \/ SPECIAL VISITS<span class=\"toggle_icon\"><span class=\"vert_icon\"><\/span><span class=\"hor_icon\"><\/span><\/span><\/p><div id='toggle-id-3' class='toggle_wrap  '  ><div class='toggle_content invers-color '  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Each visiting period for local visitors is 20 minutes per day, regardless of the number of persons an inmate receives during a particular visit.<\/p>\n<p>Out-of-town residents who reside further than 75 miles from the Dallas city limits will be allowed a 40-minute visit. Residence will be verified at the time of the visit during normal visitation hours.\u00a0 This 40-minute visit will be granted one-time only.\u00a0 All subsequent visits will be 20 minutes in duration.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_toggle_section av-lux14e5m-c28c995efc339c387761275b29f1603e'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div role=\"tablist\" class=\"single_toggle\" data-tags=\"{All} \"  ><p data-fake-id='#toggle-id-4' class='toggler   '  itemprop=\"headline\"  role='tab' tabindex='0' aria-controls='toggle-id-4'>CONDUCT<span class=\"toggle_icon\"><span class=\"vert_icon\"><\/span><span class=\"hor_icon\"><\/span><\/span><\/p><div id='toggle-id-4' class='toggle_wrap  '  ><div class='toggle_content invers-color '  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>All visitors shall be expected to follow visitation rules and act in an orderly manner.\u00a0 Adults are responsible for children\u2019s behavior. Visits may be terminated at any time when the conduct of the visitor, the visitor\u2019s children, or the inmate threatens the safety, security, and orderly operations of the facility. Visitors must remain in the building. No in-and-out of the building is permitted.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_toggle_section av-lux158vz-d0707c3e8f5e5bd16fae0389f839a5a4'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div role=\"tablist\" class=\"single_toggle\" data-tags=\"{All} \"  ><p data-fake-id='#toggle-id-5' class='toggler   '  itemprop=\"headline\"  role='tab' tabindex='0' aria-controls='toggle-id-5'>DRESS CODE<span class=\"toggle_icon\"><span class=\"vert_icon\"><\/span><span class=\"hor_icon\"><\/span><\/span><\/p><div id='toggle-id-5' class='toggle_wrap  '  ><div class='toggle_content invers-color '  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>A conservative dress code shall be enforced for all visitors coming in to visit. Please dress in clothing that is appropriate for a large gathering of men, women, and young children. Wearing inappropriate clothing (such as provocative or revealing clothes) will result in you being denied visitation.<\/p>\n<p>The following items shall NOT be permitted:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Revealing shorts<\/li>\n<li>Sundresses<\/li>\n<li>Halter tops<\/li>\n<li>Bathing suits<\/li>\n<li>Open-toed shoes (sandals and\/or flip-flop style shoes)<\/li>\n<li>See-through garments of any type (to include jeans that are ripped or have holes in them)<\/li>\n<li>Low-cut blouses or dresses<\/li>\n<li>Leotards<\/li>\n<li>Spandex or tight-fitting pants or blouses<\/li>\n<li>Miniskirts<\/li>\n<li>Backless tops<\/li>\n<li>Pajamas<\/li>\n<li>Hats or caps to include non-religious headgear<\/li>\n<li>Sleeveless garments<\/li>\n<li>Skirts two inches or more above the knee<\/li>\n<li>Dresses or skirts with a high-cut split mid-back, front or side<\/li>\n<li>Khaki, green, institutional, or military-style clothing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_toggle_section av-lux15qnz-57ae1964058f51b54a70fbf2d830f59a'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div role=\"tablist\" class=\"single_toggle\" data-tags=\"{All} \"  ><p data-fake-id='#toggle-id-6' class='toggler   '  itemprop=\"headline\"  role='tab' tabindex='0' aria-controls='toggle-id-6'>PROHIBITED ITEMS<span class=\"toggle_icon\"><span class=\"vert_icon\"><\/span><span class=\"hor_icon\"><\/span><\/span><\/p><div id='toggle-id-6' class='toggle_wrap  '  ><div class='toggle_content invers-color '  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Tobacco, lighters, matches, electronic cigarettes, cameras, electronic recording devices, cell phones, iPhone watches, backpacks, bags, purses, or unlabeled prescription medication are not permitted within visitation areas. No food or drinks shall be taken to the visitation areas except as allowed for infants. Prohibited items apply during regular visits to the jail and approved visits at the hospital.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_toggle_section av-lux169t1-87a68d493b5424653359f8b081d96d0c'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div role=\"tablist\" class=\"single_toggle\" data-tags=\"{All} \"  ><p data-fake-id='#toggle-id-7' class='toggler   '  itemprop=\"headline\"  role='tab' tabindex='0' aria-controls='toggle-id-7'>ITEMS ALLOWED<span class=\"toggle_icon\"><span class=\"vert_icon\"><\/span><span class=\"hor_icon\"><\/span><\/span><\/p><div id='toggle-id-7' class='toggle_wrap  '  ><div class='toggle_content invers-color '  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Visitors bringing infants to Visitation shall be permitted to bring the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0One diaper bag will be searched for contraband before entry.<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Blanket which must fit into the diaper bag<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Bottles which must fit into the diaper bag<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Infant carrier \u2013 a visual inspection of the infant carrier will be conducted<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_toggle_section av-lux173rq-eeb7370f3d6f530fcf490681c87ad794'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div role=\"tablist\" class=\"single_toggle\" data-tags=\"{All} \"  ><p data-fake-id='#toggle-id-8' class='toggler   '  itemprop=\"headline\"  role='tab' tabindex='0' aria-controls='toggle-id-8'>IDENTIFICATION<span class=\"toggle_icon\"><span class=\"vert_icon\"><\/span><span class=\"hor_icon\"><\/span><\/span><\/p><div id='toggle-id-8' class='toggle_wrap  '  ><div class='toggle_content invers-color '  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Visitors 18 years of age and older must present proper identification containing their photograph. The following types of identification shall be accepted:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Valid Driver\u2019s License from any state. A temporary (paper) license may be accepted as long as it is current and the person has another type of photo identification.<\/li>\n<li>A valid identification card is issued from any state.<\/li>\n<li>Valid passports are acceptable identification under the following rules per the U.S. Department of State:<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0If the person was 16 years of age or older when the passport was issued, the passport is valid for 10 years from the date of issue.<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0If the person was 15 years of age or younger when the passport was issued, the passport is valid for five years from the date of issue.<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Immigration ID card with photo issued by the United States Immigration and Naturalization Service<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Mexican Consulate cards<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Mexican Voter Registration cards with a United States address listed as a residence are not valid forms of identification.<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Military ID cards, including active duty, reserve, National Guard, retired, or dependents.\u00a0 All of these ID cards are issued by the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) with the exception of the State Guard, which is issued by the respective State.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_toggle_section av-lux17lta-76fa2d4048b1aa377aa09842c2058995'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div role=\"tablist\" class=\"single_toggle\" data-tags=\"{All} \"  ><p data-fake-id='#toggle-id-9' class='toggler   '  itemprop=\"headline\"  role='tab' tabindex='0' aria-controls='toggle-id-9'>VISITORS 17 YEARS OF AGE OR YOUNGER<span class=\"toggle_icon\"><span class=\"vert_icon\"><\/span><span class=\"hor_icon\"><\/span><\/span><\/p><div id='toggle-id-9' class='toggle_wrap  '  ><div class='toggle_content invers-color '  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Any visitor 17 years of age or younger must be accompanied by an adult (18 years old or above).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_toggle_section av-lux18s06-dd98b9d396fcd1be7594d98699e9a961'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div role=\"tablist\" class=\"single_toggle\" data-tags=\"{All} \"  ><p data-fake-id='#toggle-id-10' class='toggler   '  itemprop=\"headline\"  role='tab' tabindex='0' aria-controls='toggle-id-10'>PROHIBITED ITEMS<span class=\"toggle_icon\"><span class=\"vert_icon\"><\/span><span class=\"hor_icon\"><\/span><\/span><\/p><div id='toggle-id-10' class='toggle_wrap  '  ><div class='toggle_content invers-color '  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Cameras, purses, umbrellas, packages, mace, handbags, paper sacks, cell phones, pagers, cigarettes, cigarette lighters, matches, or any glass or metal containers.
