IMPORTANT: Post COVID-19 Processes

Because of social distancing and new occupancy order, only the person who requires assistance to record or obtain records will be allowed in the office unless you are assisting the elderly.

To observe proper social distancing protocols, assumed names will no longer be processed over-the-counter.  Assumed Name applications must be completed and properly notarized prior to coming to the office.  Upon arrival, place your completed application in the drop box station outside of our office (envelopes provided).  Once it has been filed, you will receive a plain copy via email within 3-4 business days. The original will be mailed within 7-14 business days. Please make sure the email and mailing address are legible.  We do not accept personal checks; the $24.00 payment (plus .50 fee for each additional owner) must be made by cash, money order, or cashier’s check and placed in the envelope with the application.
