LEGAL EXPERIENCE AND CREDENTIALS

  • Over 25 years of civil practice experience.
  • Appointed by Gov. Ann Richards in 1993 to serve as Judge of the 101st Civil District Court, Dallas County, and presided over more than 1,000 cases dealing with commercial, personal injury and all manner of civil cases.
  • Prior to election, Judge Moye' was founding partner with Vincent & Moyé, P.C., a commercial litigation firm with offices in Dallas and Houston.
  • Commenced legal career at the Dallas-based firm of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, L.L.P.  Formerly attorney and partner with the Dallas firm of Vial, Hamilton, Koch & Knox, L.L.P., with responsibilities across a broad range of commercial litigation.
  • Licensed by the Supreme Court of the United States, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the Ninth Circuit, the U.S. Court of Claims, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Texas and the Northern District of California, all courts of the State of Texas and all courts of the State of New York.
