The Writ Enforcement Section deputies serve the civil process and enforce executions on civil judgments.  The section also conducts the Dallas County Sheriff’s Official online Tax Sales and the Sheriff’s Sale live auction as required by law.  These sales are conducted on the first Tuesday of every month.
The Dallas County Sheriff’s Department live auction Writ Sheriff’s Sale is held at the Dallas County Records Building, 500 Elm Street, Dallas, Texas, on the 7th floor Multipurpose room, on the first Tuesday of every month. The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office seized the properties by Writ of Execution. The winning bidder must have cash or cashier’s check made out to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office and must provide a current bidder certificate to the deputy at the time of the sale. If payment is unavailable immediately, the property will be immediately resold. A deed fee of $30.00 will also be added to the final bid for processing the property’s deed. All sales are final, so please do your research on the properties prior to bidding.
