Chanel Williams is the Community Relations Officer for Dallas County Sheriff Marian Brown. In this role, Ms. Williams leads the agency’s outreach efforts across Dallas County by building trusted relationships between the Sheriff’s Office and the communities it serves. She develops and coordinates initiatives that promote transparency, civic involvement, and collaborative partnerships with residents, faith-based organizations, schools, businesses, and nonprofits.

With nearly a decade of experience working in local government and community-centered roles, Ms. Williams brings a strategic lens to public service. Prior to joining the Sheriff’s Office, Ms. Williams supported the City of Dallas Office of Equity & Inclusion, where she led citywide community engagement initiatives and organized large-scale events including resource fairs, cultural celebrations, and educational symposiums. A longtime advocate for social impact and volunteerism, Ms. Williams continues to work alongside nonprofits across the region to advance community wellness, civic participation, and access to services.
