Elizabeth Lutton is one of two Legal Advisor for Dallas Sheriff Marian Brown. She was previously employed by the City of Arlington, Texas, as a Senior Attorney and by the City of Odessa, Texas, as a Senior Assistant City Attorney. She is board-certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Labor and Employment Law. She is also a graduate of Texas Tech University with a Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Her area of practice is local government employment law with 36 years of experience, including police procedure, labor law, and employment law. She has also served as a trainer on employment and criminal law issues for the Dallas Sheriff’s Department. She has previously trained personnel with the Carruth Police Institute, the City of Arlington, the City of Mansfield, and the City of Odessa, Texas.
