Duck Creek/Garland Trail
Duck Creek Trail
City of Garland
Garland's Duck Creek Trail, which has a length of 5.7 miles, is the longest continuous trail in the northeastern corner of the County and is one of the oldest trails in the Dallas area. Located in a residential neighborhood and traversing the City's Duck Creek Greenbelt, the trail winds in and out of trees, enjoys creekside views, and connects with a number of playgrounds, athletic fields (including a cricket pitch), water fountains, grills, and picnic pavilions.
With the trail now connecting to Mesquite's new Heritage Trail (which can be accessed by travelling west just north of I-30), trail users can continue their journey for another 4.4 miles all the way to Town East Mall.
