Commissioners Court
At the heart of Dallas County is the Commissioners Court. The county is divided into four districts, and the voters of each district elect a commissioner to serve a four-year term. All the voters of the county elect the county judge to a four-year term.

Court Agendas and Video
The county Commissioners Court convenes in a formal session the 1st and 3rd Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. every month. Throughout the formal session the court reporter records the official actions of the court . The transcript of the proceedings is filed for record with the county clerk.

Budget Office
The Dallas County Office of Budget and Evaluation (OBE) is charged with the responsibility for developing a proposed County budget for consideration, modification, and adoption by the Dallas County Commissioners Court.

Foreclosures
In reference to Court Order 2009-0463 all Foreclosure Postings and Sales will take place on the North Side of the George Allen Courts Building Facing Commerce Street below the overhang, or as designated by the County Commissioners.
