In accordance with Acts of the 75th Session of Texas Legislature adding requirements to the Texas Property Code requiring Counties to report and remit abandoned property valued at $100.00 or less to the County Treasurer and that the County develop an Unclaimed Property Program for the reporting of this locally reported abandoned property, which may also be referred to as uncashed checks.
Public notice is hereby given by the County Treasurer of Dallas County, Texas, that Abandoned Property/Uncashed Checks in the amount of less than $100.00 and in the amount of over $100.00 for the period up to and ending June 30, 2009 may be reviewed in the Dallas County Clerk's Clerk of the Court Office on the ground floor, Dallas County Administration Building, 411 Elm Street, Dallas, Texas 75202, during the hours of 8:00 A.M. through 4:30 P.M., Monday through Friday, except for Dallas County holidays.
