Accessing Records of the Juvenile Courts
Please be advised that records of the Juvenile Courts of Dallas County are not accessible to the general public without approval of the juvenile district court pursuant to Standing Order V318/P231. The district clerk will only permit attorneys of record or litigantsto view or obtain copies of juvenile records.without a signed order of the court.
Viewing Juvenile Court Records
Attorneys of Record or litigants associated with a juvenile delinquency case must present to the District Clerk’s office on the third floor of the Henry Wade Juvenile Justice Center. Persons will only be admitted to the document viewing room after presenting a picture identification. Documents may be reviewed in the viewing room only. Juvenile Court case records are not available online at this time.
Obtaining Copies of Juvenile Court Records

At this time, the District Clerk’s Juvenile section does not typically provide records to requesters by electronic means. Therefore copy fees appearing on the District Clerk’s fee schedule relating to documents conserved electronically and provided to customers by email do not apply. In addition, the section does not typically send records by mail. All record requests are handled in-person at the district clerk’s juvenile section.
Payment Options
At this time, the District Clerk’s Juvenile section only accepts cash, check (in state) or money order. The section does not accept credit cards at the desk or through the online payment portal.
