Current Role & Responsibilities

As the Felony Division B Supervisor, she oversees the representation of clients across four felony courts within the Dallas County Public Defender’s Office. In this leadership role, she supervises attorneys and support staff while ensuring clients receive effective, high-quality representation throughout every stage of the felony criminal justice process.

The Felony Division handles a wide range of felony matters, advocating for clients facing serious criminal charges while providing strategic legal representation and guidance from case assignment through resolution.

Education & Background

She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Iowa before completing postgraduate studies in Broadcast Communications at Stanford University. She later earned her Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University School of Law, bringing a diverse educational background and broad perspective to her work as a public defender.
