Our Interpretation and Translation Division provides professional language services to ensure effective communication for individuals with limited English proficiency who are clients or involved in cases within the Public Defender’s Office. The division offers interpreting for court proceedings, legal meetings, and other official interactions, as well as translation of documents, forms, and communications. Our goal is to bridge language barriers while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and adherence to professional standards. At this time, our in-house interpreter/translator provides services in Spanish.
We hope to expand our in-house services to include additional languages in the future. In the meantime, we collaborate with a third-party agency to provide interpreting and translation support for languages not currently available in-house.
