DALLAS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.

THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 22.02 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $29.08.

Dallas County is a pioneer in the field of problem-solving programs/treatment courts, and we represent clients in 20 problem-solving programs in the county, including the Mental Health Personal Bond Program. Treatment Court programs are either pre-plea or post-plea. The purpose of treatment courts is to not simply resolve a criminal case, but to also address behavioral health needs that lead to involvement in the criminal justice system.
