"An Informed Community is an EMPOWERED Community"

The primary mission of the Dallas County Constable’s Office Precinct 1 is to execute all lawful Orders issued by the Criminal and Civil District Courts, the Criminal and Civil County Courts, and the Justice of the Peace Courts. This includes, but is not limited to, all lawsuits, judgments, seizures, evictions, notices, and all other types of criminal and civil process. The elected Constable and her deputies are licensed by the State of Texas, and are certified Texas Peace Officers.

In furtherance of the primary mission, the preservation of peace throughout the Precinct 1 community is also a high priority. The Constable’s Office is totally committed to the safety of the general public through the vigilant enforcement of all criminal and traffic laws; and at the same time, is strongly committed in providing quality and professional law enforcement to all its citizens. Finally, the Precinct 1 Constable’s Office firmly believes that its participation in community developed and oriented policing programs, coupled with out-reach and other crime prevention programs are extremely vital to maintain the health and quality of life, for all the citizens of the Precinct 1 community.
