DALLAS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.

THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 22.02 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $29.08.

With an estimated net gain of one person every 18 seconds, the Census Bureau estimates that since 2010, the United States has grown by almost 20 million people. Preparation to ensure an adequate and secure 2020 Census started years ago but has been ramping up as we approach the one year out mark on April 1, 2019.
