Judge Nash, JP 1-2

Judge Nash was elected to serve in 2007. She was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Wilmer-Hutchins High School. She attended the University of Houston and received a Bachelor of Science Degree. Judge Nash received her Juris Doctorate Degree from Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas.

She is licensed and has practiced law in Florida, Georgia, and Texas and has practiced in the areas of environmental law and justice, family law, juvenile law, construction law and litigation.

On November 3, 2008, Judge Nash was appointed to the Texas Judicial Council by Chief Justice Wallace B. Jefferson of the Supreme Court of Texas. Chief Justice Jefferson reappointed her to a second term to serve on the Council on January 25, 2013. The Texas Judicial Council is the policy making body for the state judiciary.
