Based on the Governor’s Orders, I have concluded that law offices may not open yet. My analysis follows. Law Offices are not among those listed for Reopened Services in Executive Order GA-18. Those services are limited to: - Retail services
- Restaurants
- Movie theaters
- Shopping malls
- Museums and libraries
- Services provided by an individual working alone in an office
- Golf courses
- Local government operations

May 4 | Supplemental Order on Reopened Services and Food Processing Plants Effective as of 5:00 p.m. on May 4, 2020, and continuing until 11:59 p.m. on May 15, 2020. - “Reopened Services” may operate in Dallas County in compliance with this Order.
- Reopened Services must comply Minimum Standard Health Protocols, in The Governor’s Report to Open Texas, issued April 27, 2020. For clarity, to the extent the Governor’s Minimum Standard Health Protocols are recommendations, the Health Protocols are adopted as mandatory rules in Dallas County.
