The East Dallas Government Center, formerly located at 3443 St. Francis Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75228, has officially relocated to a new, state-of-the-art facility.

DALLAS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.

THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 22.02 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $29.08.

The Law Library provides many Texas law titles to aid attorneys and pro se litigants in their legal research. The Library owns many titles of formbooks and practice guides in Civil, Family and Criminal law for the state of Texas. The Library has most Texas and national law reviews on paper until 2003 as well as those that are electronically available through Westlaw and Lexis subscriptions.

The Library has Federal formbooks and practice guides as well as many topical titles including trusts, contracts, UCC, banking, insurance, bankruptcy, aviation, copyright, employment, education, Social Security, and tax.
