The Dallas County Health and Human Services’ HIV Grants division is responsible for administering millions of dollars in federal and state HIV/AIDS grant funding, including funds from Ryan White Part A and B and Ryan White Minority AIDS Initiative.

This funding allows persons living with HIV/AIDS throughout a 12-county service delivery area to have access to primary medical care through HIV-related health and psycho-social support services.

Several services, including the ones listed below, are contracted through non-profit agencies and provided to residents in the following counties: Collin, Cooke, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Fannin, Grayson, Henderson, Hunt, Kaufman, Navarro, and Rockwall.

  • AIDS pharmaceutical assistance
  • Medical case management
  • Early intervention services
  • Mental health
  • Health insurance and cost-sharing assistance

  • Outreach — Lost to Care
  • Medical transportation
  • Housing-based case management
  • Health education / risk reduction
  • Transportation
  • Home-delivered meals
  • Congregate housing
  • Linguistic services
  • Legal services
  • Day respite care for children / youth / adults

  • Respite services for adults
