About Robert B. Wilson
As the Director of Human Resources for Dallas County, Robert B. Wilson has been leading HR operations since March 4, 2019. With extensive experience in both government and private sector HR leadership, Mr. Wilson previously held executive roles at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection from 2011 to 2019, serving as HR Director, Director of Administrative Services, and Chief of Staff. His strategic approach to human resources has helped shape policies that foster employee growth, workplace inclusivity, and operational efficiency.
A proud retired Major in the United States Marine Corps, Mr. Wilson served in the military for over 20 years, bringing discipline, integrity, and a commitment to excellence to his leadership style. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Texas, an MBA in International Business from Troy University, and is a certified HR professional.
