Poison Hemlock Awareness

August 13, 2025

“Today, I had a Dallas County urban client bring in a plant sample they thought was Poison hemlock. Luckily, we identified it as a type of wild parsley, but they were right to be concerned because it looks like hemlock, and hemlock is growing all over Dallas County right now. If you have any suspicions about a plant, please send me pictures or bring one to our office at 6820 LBJ Freeway. Additionally, the article linked below provides excellent pictures to help one identify poison hemlock on their own.”
