County Criminal Court 11

County Criminal Court #11 offers an opportunity to:

Observe real courtroom proceedings such as trials and hearings
Complete a rotation with the different divisions in the criminal justice system (District Attorney’s Office, Public Defender’s Office, Coordinator, Clerks and Community Supervision)
Interact and gain mentorship from legal professionals
Learn what it takes to make a court successfully function
Observe and participate in court-run community outreach programs
- Pipeline to Possibilities
- Homeless Diversion Court Program
- Curls, Clippers and Conversation
- Intercepted

In addition to resume and cover letter applicants:

Must have no Criminal History
Must be at least 17 years of age
Minimum 2.7 overall GPA
Microsoft Office Proficient
Self-sufficient and eager to learn
* Summer interns will be required to participate in a mock Voir dire and opening/closing statement
