DALLAS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.

THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 22.02 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $29.08.

Clinical Services Overview


Dallas County Health and Human Services (DCHHS) offers several clinical services to Dallas County residents. DCHHS’s mission is to protect the health of the citizens of Dallas County through disease prevention and intervention, and through promotions of a healthy community and environment. Our Clinical Services department encourages all residents to take advantage of what we offer to reach these goals. Services provided include:

  • Immunizations – Adult and child immunizations; routine and travel immunizations
  • Refugee Health Services – Physical examinations, routine vaccinations, and testing services
  • Sexual Health Clinic – HIV and STI treatment, testing, to pick up test results, or linkage to care
  • Sexual Health Medical Mobile Unit – Provides screening and testing for STIs in high need areas
  • TB Elimination – Evaluation, treatment, and case management for TB cases
