The East Dallas Government Center, formerly located at 3443 St. Francis Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75228, has officially relocated to a new, state-of-the-art facility.

The former facility at 3443 St. Francis Avenue is now closed. We are excited to welcome residents, visitors, and employees to our new location, designed to provide an improved and more modern environment for serving the East Dallas community.

DALLAS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.

THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 22.02 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $29.08.

The goals of DCHHS Community Outreach and Education Program are to promote wellness initiatives that reduce health risk factors, promote access to healthcare and social services, and improve the quality of life for the residents of Dallas County. Some of the activities that DCHHS offers include:

  • Pop-Up Clinics (COVID-19 vaccines)
  • Community Immunization Clinics (childhood immunizations and flu vaccines)
  • Health Fairs
  • Educational Presentations

There is no charge for these services.
